Development of a unique turnkey web service

Task

The goal was to bring the service online under a new online brand for a large official service of popular tool brands (Bosch, Karcher, DeWalt, etc.) and to make a technically complex project as simple and understandable as possible.

Solution

A comprehensive solution with the formation and implementation of a unique selling proposition (USP) in the interface and functionality of the site based on an in-depth analysis of the company’s business and services.

  • Interface design based on dynamic prototypes with the creation of a behavioral scenario
  • Unique design
  • The adaptive version makes the site convenient for PC and mobile gadgets
  • Simple and convenient navigation to find the tools you need
  • Functionality of a closed site
  • Integration of the site with 1C and individual modules (Binotel, Jivosite, LiqPay)
  • SMS notifications to clients.
Studio SWOT has developed a website for the provision of repair services for equipment “Repair 24”. The project is unique; there are simply no analogues to it in the Ukrainian segment of the Internet. We spent a long time choosing a contractor who could implement our idea at an adequate cost. But even with the high cost, the agencies were not ready to delve deeply into the essence of our project.

From the first meeting with the head of the SWOT studio, it became clear that a completely different approach was being used here. Thoughtful, attentive to the specifics of our niche and task. As a result, it was not just our idea that was realized, but a project drawn up jointly. The result was an excellent synergy between our experience in the niche and the experience of SWOT specialists in creating conversion websites. The longest stage of work was the joint, very detailed preparation of the project specifications. But it was worth it. Many nuances that were completely unclear in our idea received sufficient concrete implementation. I really liked the work of the designers and layout designers, which required almost no changes. In programming we were able to find the optimal technical implementation option. I can confidently recommend SWOT to those who need a high-quality selling website.

The service occupies a niche in terms of order volume

1 Concept, prototypes and logo

Convenience of understandable behavioral scenarios was given special attention in the project, because Most services have inconvenient and illogical websites. The design of complex interfaces based on the analysis of behavioral scenarios made it possible to simplify the logic of ordering repairs/spare parts for the instrument of interest and shorten the client’s path to solving the problem on the website as much as possible. The result presented on dynamic prototypes pleasantly surprised the client with its simplicity.

2 Home

The new brand is aimed at convenient online ordering and shipping throughout Ukraine, so a modern style was chosen - minimalism and flat. It should also be associated with popular mass service brands, so the main example of a brand with a positive association was Nova Poshta; a simple text logo was created in this style.
The main page gradually introduces the client to the service, starting from the 1st screen with reviews, as well as a convenient choice of the type, type and brand of the tool, allowing you to proceed to the order from the 1st screen. Next, a block of brands with which the service works is presented in the form of logos and is their official service, which allows you to move visuals who did not make their choice on the 1st screen to the next step, and also increases the cost of the service, raising the status of nonsense thanks to the level of partner brands presented. Below is an About us block with brief text and video information to get to know the new brand, as well as an expanded block of real reviews.

3 Reviews page

Reviews are of increased importance for the trust of a service in an online work format, because they determine the level of reliability and, as a result, trust in the service. Therefore, all reviews are additionally collected on a separate reviews page, while the emphasis is on the reality of the reviews, supported by links to their sources.

4 Catalog

The catalog is divided into 2 logically simple steps that simplify the search for the right tool - choosing the type of tool, for example, Power Tool, and then selecting the type, for example, Grinders. After which the person is taken to the tool card page.

5 Tool card

The tool card is the same for all models of this type of brand equipment, for example, Bosch grinder. And it contains a general photo, a brand logo, the ability to download a price list, a description and target action buttons “Request for repair” or “Buy a spare part”.

6 Popups

Parts order and repair request forms are simplified as much as possible and contain only a few simple fields with prompts at each step so that everyone can fill out the form. Based on orders not only by professional craftsmen (B2B), but also by ordinary people (B2C).

7 Personal account

Contains pages for ordering spare parts, repairs and personal data. The emphasis is on the convenience of tracking order status, for which periodic synchronization with 1C was implemented. At the same time, at the bottom of the tabs it is convenient to display a product block for upsells - “Recommended spare parts”. Also in the account it is possible to fill in the user’s personal data, because In order to increase registration conversion, the registration form has been simplified somewhat, only asking for key information at this stage.

8 Contacts

Contains the ability to indicate the addresses of branches (services/reception and delivery points) in current and new cities.

9 Other pages

For beginners and inexperienced users, to make it easier to work with the service, a “How do we work?” page has been implemented. We also implemented a blog to further expand the volume of available demand (semantics) by working on the “long tail” of SEO and content marketing.

Technologies

front end:
HTML 5, CSS; Adaptive (PC, mobile, tablet) & Responsive web-design, Cross-browser compatibility - Chrome, Mozilla, Opera, Internet Explorer (from v.9)
Backend:
CMS - OpenCart; Integrations: call back widget - GetCall (Binotel), online chat - Jivosite; payment - LiqPay; SMS notifications to clients - TurboSMS."

Development of a technical service website

Today our society absolutely cannot imagine living without gadgets, household appliances, and electrical devices. But it often happens that during intensive use one or another type of equipment breaks down. The “lucky ones” have no choice but to take the item for repair. But not all entrepreneurs involved in equipment maintenance have a website, which in turn inevitably affects their profits. To solve the problem, they choose to turn to a marketing agency to develop an equipment service website.

Therefore, creating a website for equipment repair is a priority option for them to solve business problems. Developing a website for equipment maintenance is a rather complex and difficult process; it should be trusted exclusively to professionals. In addition, the equipment repair website must be understandable for every potential client, and the entire range of services provided must be displayed on the service. A home appliance repair website will allow you to optimally promote your business. A website for repairing household appliances is not fundamentally different from other service websites, but due to the small specificity of the services provided, professionals should pay attention to details when developing.

Creation of an equipment repair website

First of all, a website for equipment repair should effectively highlight and focus on the quality of the services provided.

  1. The development of an equipment service website begins with SWOT specialists developing an original design. If the distinctive feature is the provision of gadget repair services, it is worth adding more pictures of computers, phones, tablets, etc. to the first page. Accordingly, the home appliance repair website should be accompanied by images of washing machines, ovens, etc. Naturally, the pictures should not be large in size and fit harmoniously into the site. As for the color scheme, the equipment repair site does not have any distinctive features.
  2. Setting up convenient filters and sorting. The creation of an equipment repair website should be accompanied by the development of the ability to quickly and clearly sort the services provided and the type of equipment to which the repair will be applied. Developing a website for a catalog of spare parts for equipment is even more complex, because it is necessary to manually create a card for each product; their number can be very large.
  3. High customer return – this is what the result should be after developing a website for equipment repair. A potential client should be able to quickly find all the necessary information about the services provided, the cost of work, and the timing of their completion.
  4. The adaptive layout of the home appliance repair website will allow you to use them equally conveniently and well both on a smartphone and on computer equipment.
  5. Focusing on the unique style of the company when creating a website for repairing household appliances is very important, since you need to follow the color scheme of the design and not deviate from the rhetoric of banners, mottos, and external signs.
  6. Convenient application form. A separate button for ordering services should be displayed at the bottom of the site or landing page, this simplifies the process of ordering a service.
  7. Before ordering a website for equipment repair, the customer needs to carefully consider all stages of development, and then convey them to a marketing agency specialist. Next, you can make adjustments to the creation of an equipment repair website.
  8. Layout. To begin with, you need to decide on the main idea and message, then highlight the structure of the sections, decide on the number of pages, etc.
  9. Cost estimate. Developing a website for the repair of tools or equipment is not cheap; the content of the site, additional features, design, etc. are taken into account. The first is the conclusion of an advance agreement, then the customer receives the entire list of services provided by SWOT, as well as the entire list of functions that will be available on the final version of the site. The customer makes payments gradually as the work is completed. After each stage, you can check the volume and quality of the work performed.
  10. Prototyping. The development of an equipment service website then includes the creation of an interface that is understandable and accessible to every user; specialists prescribe the functionality - we fill the site with information about the services provided by the company.
  11. Design. The creation of an equipment repair website continues by creating the design of each page based on previously developed prototypes. The requirements of UI/UX design and preferences of the company’s target audience are taken into account. Layouts are approved by the customer.
  12. WEB development. Bringing the site into working condition, adapting it for use from any device, introducing a site management system.
  13. Filling the site with content and testing it. This is one of the final stages, since the site is thrown onto a test site, where you can evaluate its ease of use from the outside and make timely adjustments. Creating an equipment repair website should be accompanied by writing SEO texts, perhaps maintaining a mini-blog, for example, about caring for a specific type of equipment.
  14. Launch. This stage of developing a technical service website is extremely important, since the site is transferred to a working hosting, where its final verification takes place. Next - making proposals for development and further promotion.
  15. Promotion. When an equipment repair website is already freely accessible, and the first visitors are ready to evaluate it, the question arises - how large an audience will be reached? The creation of an equipment repair website is accompanied by its further promotion and advertising.
  16. Technical support. The development of the tool repair site continues; SWOT specialists monitor the operation of the site and, if necessary, promptly make changes.
  17. Escort. After some period of time, the equipment repair site will become outdated, it will need to be improved; with the development of business and the increase in site traffic comes the need to regularly update content, expand functionality, and maintain high positions in search engine results.

Spare parts website development

Developing an online spare parts store is an excellent option not only for a businessman who has been working and generating income for a long time, but also for a novice entrepreneur. At the same time, creating an online spare parts store is not at all an easy task. It is important to remember that developing an online spare parts store requires a good understanding of the assortment, because in any case, when moving from an offline to an online business, a shock comes for the entrepreneur. This is due to the fact that the requests of offline buyers may differ significantly from the requests of online buyers. Developing a spare parts website implies that the entrepreneur already knows which spare parts are for which type of equipment. This will make it possible to quickly decide on the structure of the site and find suppliers in the shortest possible time. There are 2 types of online spare parts stores:

  • multi-brand;
  • monobrand.

Multi-brand allows you to sell spare parts for different types of equipment of different brands. Mono-brand specializes in the sale of spare parts for one type of equipment (for example, washing machines) and, in exceptional cases, for one type of equipment from a specific manufacturer (this is an extremely unprofitable option, but sometimes you come across such online stores). Creating an online spare parts store begins with creating hosting and a domain name. It is worth remembering that developing a multi-brand spare parts website is much more difficult than developing a mono-brand one. The whole difficulty lies in the following nuances:

  • The development of a website for a catalog of spare parts for equipment takes longer, because there are many product items that require constant updating;
  • It takes a lot of time to develop a complex structure and a huge number of website pages;
  • An online store may have many pages with identical or maximally similar content that need to be properly divided.

Developing an online store of mono-brand spare parts is faster and easier, but unfortunately, such online stores do not bring the desired income to entrepreneurs.

Developing an online spare parts store is not an easy and time-consuming process, but SWOT professionals know how to properly organize it as productively and effortlessly as possible. In many ways, the difficulty lies in the need to fill the online spare parts store with electronic catalogs, which in turn must undergo TecDoc integration. Also, such website builders as Opencart, 1C:Bitrix, WordPress are considered inconvenient to use, so experts are trying to move away from it. First of all, you need to customize the appearance of the online spare parts store and upload the price list. Creating an online spare parts store also implies introducing the ability to easily and quickly search for original spare parts or high-quality analogue parts. Stylish design and adaptive design will help increase sales - this is the first impression of the company and 50% of potential success. The faster the buyer finds the necessary spare parts, the more likely he is to buy it. Therefore, when developing an online spare parts store, setting up an optimal, tailored search system plays an important role.

Creating an online spare parts store may be accompanied by the creation of cross-links. For example, a client cannot find the required part or spare part in your online store. In this case, the configured cross-link function allows you to find the required spare part by cross-linking. The client will receive a link to an analogue of the spare parts he is looking for, or a link to the required spare part, but in another online store. The likelihood of purchasing spare parts elsewhere increases, but the pleasant aspect of helping you find the right spare part will make the buyer want to visit your online store.

Developing an online spare parts store means scrupulously filling it with all the necessary information about the products. The product information card will allow you to dispel all doubts and order the necessary spare part without the participation of a manager. The buyer has the opportunity to familiarize himself with the description, characteristics, brand, country of origin, view photos and possibly even a video review of the product. It is important to create an online spare parts store filled with all the information a potential buyer needs, thus increasing the likelihood of him making a purchase significantly.

During the development process, SWOT specialists take into account the main technical aspects that contribute to the high-quality promotion of an online spare parts store. Each page is optimized and equipped with an SEO module that allows you to create title, description, keywords, h1-h6, and SEO text meta tags. Through the admin panel you can edit the robots.txt file, add webmaster verification files and generate a site map.

Tool repair website development

The development of a tool repair website begins with the analysis of information about which type of tool repair will be provided by the service. A tool repair website should have the following information (of most interest to potential users of the repair service):

  • Is it possible to deliver a tool for repair from another region of Ukraine, what are the conditions for direct delivery and return;
  • the timing of the provision of tool repair services, as well as the means used;
  • the possibility of providing a guarantee for the work done in the event of a possible repeated failure of the tool;
  • do tool repair service workers have new components to quickly replace old components;
  • Ideally, a tool repair website should include information regarding the workers providing such services.

Development of a tool repair website and development of a spare parts website is a priority in SWOT, since this business niche is very relevant today, so the need for creating web pages is increasing. Developing a website for tools for offline store owners will significantly expand their clientele, because it is much easier to find out about such a service on the Internet.

Since the development of an equipment service website does not end with its testing, SWOT specialists continue to promote it and improve it in the future. The most important element of an equipment repair website is filling it with new, high-quality content. There are cases when the content on such sites is initially so complex and incomprehensible to the average person that they simply refuse to order services on such a site. Therefore, a home appliance repair website should be filled with clear texts and descriptions of services. In addition, the presence of high-quality, thematic photographs on the online store, preferably the process of repair and maintenance of equipment, plays an important role. Such content endears the potential client and increases trust in the equipment repair site. The creation of an equipment repair website should be accompanied by a description of each specific service, because this is how the potential customer of the service develops an understanding of exactly how the repair will take place. In addition, this will allow the client to quickly navigate the site and understand whether the workshop can solve his problem.

You can order a website for the repair of equipment and tools from the SWOT company. Our specialists will analyze your business as soon as possible and draw up a plan for developing a website for equipment maintenance. Since this is a labor-intensive process, the customer should not think in advance about quickly completing the development. If the client is interested, our programmers, content managers, and SMM specialists will continue to support and promote the online store in the future. Development of a technical service website allows you to quickly implement all desires that cannot be realized offline. SWOT specialists, when developing a technical service website, create unique content that can attract a potential user to this service.
